a good command

Pippin is my puppy. He is a Bernedoodle.

When we first got him, I taught him the "place" command, which means he goes between my legs. The method was simple: first, I would lead him to the designated spot, and then I added the command "place."

In case of an emergency, "place" is a useful command.

It was easy with this method, and I think it was a success.
