training Kelsey

To train Kelsey to accept the Dremel, I first let her smell it, then I turned it on. It was important to do this far enough away that it wouldn't scare her; if it did, this would be much harder. After she was ok with that, I brought it a little closer slowly until it was close enough to touch her, then I pet her with the Dremel. She did not like this. When she was ok with it touching her, I had Camille hold Kelsey, and I touched her nail with the Dremel. She hated this. But after a bit, she relaxed. only did one nail, just to get her used to the feeling. I think after a lot more practice, she will be ok with the Dremel.
